On-loan Harrogate Town hitman Clayton Donaldson has been named as the Nationwide North player of the month after getting 34 per cent of the website vote.
A delighted John Reed praised the accolade as good for both the player and the club after becoming the first Town player to win.
Hull City man Donaldson will be looking to continue that kind of form in tomorrow's crunch Nationwide North match at home to challengers Worksop Town.
"Worksop will give us the biggest challenge yet," said Reed. "They have got a very astute manager and they will definitely be up for the fight so we will have to be at our very best."
Three players are currently rated as 50/50 with Mark Harran the most likely to be fit. Dominic Krief remains a doubt after coming off at half-time with an ankle injury against Stalybridge, while Paul Shepherd has a knee problem.
But the squad is boosted by the arrival of striker Danny Holland on loan from Hucknall Town.
