Both theories have merit. But we are inclined to believe that Chris Nelson's improved condition can be largely ascribed to her astonishing self-belief, reinforced by the fantastic support of family and friends.
Diagnosed with terminal cancer two years ago, Chris wasn't about to be beaten without a fight. She sought help from both mainstream and unorthodox cancer specialists. As a result Chris has taken an astonishing 200 tablets a day and follows a strict diet.
Her health regime has been made possible through the fund-raising efforts of colleagues at Nestl Rowntree. They have bought Chris more time - and brought hope to others in similar circumstances.
