SANDRA Bruce, with 21 darts, and a match-winning pairs by Tracey Bruce-Wendy Shortle gave Independent a 5-4 victory over Blacksmiths Arms in York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one.
Angie Hields (two 100s for 22) helped steer Cueball to a 6-3 win at Cygnet 'C' as the tons flowed.
Chris Godson-Chrissy Winspear clinched victory for Holgate despite a good pairs win by Slip's Claire Robinson.
Flag were 4-2 down at Leeman 'B' before raising their standards, with Sarah Jackson partnering Sharon Neads to victory in the decider.
Ruth Norman-Jo Hodges combined to win the decider for Clifton 'A' at Slip 'B'. Carol Brayshaw was best for Dringhouses as they fell 6-3 to Cygnet 'A'.
In division two Joan Cockerill-Tracy Billingham set up the decider which saw Cygnet 'B' colleagues Jackie Coverdale and her daughter Cindy Benton clinch their match at Clifton 'B'.
In division two, No 8 Old Ebor are now playing at Locomotive, Watson Street.
In division three, Joan Hunter-June Miller were the match-winners for Cueball 'A' as they were taken to the wire by Volunteer 'A'. Woolpack's last pairing Sybil Chilton-Pat Price took the match against Turf.
Despite being a player short Burton Club won 8-1 at Volunteer 'B', whose Cath Roe won the pairs.
Kev Walton hit back-to-back maximums for 18 darts to secure Sun Inn's York Phoenix Monday Darts League division one win against Huntington WMC.
Walton also closed in 17 and was well backed by Jon O'Mara (19 & 21) and Tony Cooper (19) as they won 7-2. Huntington's Nick Harteveld had a 180 and 19 darts.
Ebor moved into second place, with Mark Hartley (16) and Tony Raymond (20) wrapping up the last game win. Paul Cooper had 14 and 20 darts and bull finish for Cygnet 'B', while Craig Wedge added 18 and 21 darts.
Andy Morton (21) and his father Stu Morton (24) sealed Acomb's win against Acorn ARL, who had Lee Brundrett out in 19.
Ged McMahon's 107 finish for 18 followed by 17 wasn't enough to lead Rose & Crown to victory as an 82 bull finish and maximum from Mick Willsden gave Shepherd's the win.
In division two, Locomotive ran out of steam as Clifton had a clean sweep, led by Anthony Baxter (180 for 20) Paul Innes (180 for 23) and Steve Simpson out in 21.
Slipper (Paul Partridge 2 x 21) threw away a 3-1 lead as Crescent battled back, with Neil Fairclough including a 180 for 20 and Ken Smith their match-winner.
