A YORK couple who were injured in the Jordan bus crash have returned home, it was revealed today.
Churchgoers Roger and Pat Brown, of Dunnington, were among nine injured Britons treated at the King Hussein Medical Centre in Amman, following the tragedy on October 28.
Hilda Brisby, 80, and Margaret Haslam, 70, both from Heworth, and Owen Dale, 66, and his wife, Jean, 63, from Dunnington, died when the coach suffered a burst tyre and collided with a pick-up truck.
Mr Brown suffered a scalp wound and a broken collarbone, and his wife escaped with minor injuries despite being thrown through the window.
Margaret Haslam's husband, Graham, a retired Methodist minister and the tour leader, suffered a broken leg and head injuries and is still too ill to fly home.
