Selby Olympia avenged a John Smith's Cup defeat to Edward VII earlier in the season with an emphatic 7-0 win in the second round of the York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup.
Their scorers were Brendan Lanaghan (2), Dave Reasbeck (2), Paul Tanton, Adam Durnin and Alan Howard.
The highlight of Ainsty Panthers' 4-2 victory over Acomb SC was a cheeky backheeled goal by Paul Barron.
The Ainsty's other goals came from Mark Willoughby (2) and Danny Farthing.
Thorpe United dominated their game against Nestl Rowntree and took the lead after 15 minutes when Adam Garner flicked the ball into the net.
An own goal by Nigel Emery brought the scores level but the same player made amends with a 45-yard shot to restore Thorpe's lead and before half-time Garner made it 3-1.
In the second half, Thorpe captain Brian Watts ran through a static defence to make the final score 4-1.
Acomb WM took an early lead against Derwent United when Anthony Robins netted but by half-time the Malton club had levelled with a Seb Towse penalty.
In the second half Derwent took control with goals from Darryl Craggs, Neil Wilford, Simon Collins, David Bradshaw and a diving header from Charlie Lund.
Paul Crangle netted a hat-trick for Deramore Arms in their 5-2 defeat of the Blacksmith's Arms with other goals coming from Stephen Jackson and substitute Anthony Luck with his first touch of the game.
Marcia beat Severus SC 5-1 with two goals each from Joe Gardham and Mark Ford plus a solo goal from Andrew Green, who rounded four men to score.
... and so too do super slick Skelton
Skelton tore apart opposition from a higher division when hammering the Five Lions 7-0 in the York FA Sunday Morning Junior Cup round two.
They took the lead after 12 minutes when Richard Winterburn started a move down the right which was finished by prolific scorer Neale Holmes.
And after the breakthrough it became one-way traffic with Holmes completing a hat-trick and Winter-burn, Mike Heele, Andy Grainger and James Barrett also on target.
Top scorers of the weekend were Selby Olympia Reserves, who went a goal down to Wanderers before overwhelming their opponents with an astonishing 24 goals without reply. Ryan Chadwick led the way with six.
Neil Yoewart scored near the beginning and end of the tie as F1 Racing beat Edinburgh Arms 2-0. Barry Dillon and Thomas White were excellent in defence for F1 Racing.
The Plough beat Firkin 103 2-1 in a close game. They took the lead after 25 minutes when Robin Bedford finished a fine move, and although a Simon Connell own goal brought the scores level, they got on top after the break and clinched victory six minutes from time with a Peter Noble header.
The shock result of the round was Inland Revenue's 3-1 victory over Bishopthorpe United.
The deadlock was broken early in the second half when Bishops scored through Andy Manns from close range, but Inland levelled within two minutes through Robin Ellis and took the lead when Nick Hilton netted after good play from Matt Topham. The game was settled when Ben Ambler ran round the defence to slot home.
Quaker Wood led by a first-half penalty with four minutes left of their game against Bay Horse Tadcaster, but a looping header from Ross Bardy forced the game into extra-time.
It then went to a penalty shoot-out which Bay Horse won 4-2, with their star being goalkeeper Phillip Zealand, who saved two penalties and scored the spot kick that won it.
Cawood came from behind against Holgate WMC to win 6-4. Ben Rawson netted two goals including a 30-yard stunner with the other Cawood strikes coming from John Knowles, Bill Atton and substitute Shaun Taggert (2).
