BISHOP Wilton goalkeeper David Booth celebrated his 50th birthday with a string of excellent saves in his team's York FA Saturday Junior Cup second round clash against Ouseburn United Reserves.
But Booth could not save a cracking low shot from Lance Cameron, and Will Moss's goal seven minutes from time killed off the tie.
Wheldrake took control in the second half to run out 3-1 winners against Heslington Reserves after a goalless first half.
Darren Malloy, Gareth Tutt and Martin Chapman were all on target for Wheldrake, with Heslington getting a consolation goal just five seconds from the end.
Three first-half goals, two from Kevin Butler and one from Kevin Martin, were enough to earn Sheriff Hutton a surprise 3-0 victory over Pocklington Reserves.
