DESPITE a disappointing start to the season York City boss Chris Brass insists he's not under pressure.
He was heading to Carlisle United today hunting an FA Cup fourth qualifying round victory to appease anxious fans - and earn vital money for the cash-strapped club.
A win at in-form Carlisle would inject an estimated £20,000 into the club, would act as a massive morale-boost for City and could help pacify those quarters baying for him to go.
But Brass was keeping his cool today and saw the Cup-tie as a simple win-bonus - and not win or bust.
Of today's clash, he said. "The money will help with the long-term future and it helps give us more scope for the league.
"But I don't feel under any pressure. It is more financially rewarding than a sense of pressure knowing that if we win it will give me a little something to wheel and deal with."
If City do make it through today, tune into BBC1, BBC Radio Five Live or Sky Sports to catch the first round draw being made live at around 5.05pm.
Harrogate-born John Scales will be making the selections with former Liverpool team-mate John Aldridge.
The numbers to watch are: 54 Carlisle/ York, 61 Lancaster/ Scarborough, the result of the all extra-preliminary survivors clash between Liversedge and Coalville will be 62, and interesting derbies could be drawn with League One Hull City (20) or League Two Darlington (15).
