MARTYN Turner included a maximum for a superb 16-darter for Clifton in their York Open Darts League division one encounter with Greyhound.

Mark Blundell and Bill Platt secured the win for Greyhound with Dave Pilmoor (20) and Stu Limbert (20) doing well. Paul Brandon gamed on 17 for Clifton.

Rich Corner (16 and 17) and John Quantock (17 and 21) put Mitre 2-1 up against Volunteers, whose Daz Gray fired 21 darts then 180 for 19. Volunteer stormed to a 7-2 victory with excellent throwing from Paul Dixon (21), Mike Harris (18).

Chaz Ramsden notched a maximum for 16 darts followed by a 20-darter. Harris and Ramsden topped off a splendid performance with a terrific 20-dart 701 leg with Harris including a 180.

Huntington WMC had their match at Pack won within the singles with Jim Wallis (180), Dave Binks (17 and 21), Nick Harteveld (19 and 20) and John Smith with 20 and 21. Pack had good scores from Greg Robinson and Kev Upson, while Huntington's Smith added a pairs maximum.

Ebor took five games on the trot at Howden with Brent Conland (180) partnering Arthur Conyers for a 23-dart pairs leg to seal the win.

In division two, leaders Crescent 'A' took all the pairs for victory at Woolpack, while Huntington 'A' ran out 6-3 winners at Leeman, whose Mark Moore gamed in 20.

Crescent 'B' came back from 4-2 down with Ken and Dave Smith sealing the last game win and a fine 174 score from Karen Alton inspired Reindeer to a narrow win against Cygnet.

James Fitzpatrick and Matt Oates were Jackdaw's match-winners in division three against Crown, while Poppleton Road WMC gottheir first win of the season beating Mount 7-2.
