ONCE again our show is imminent - it takes place on Saturday, November 6 and we are hoping that it will be a bigger success than last year. Please make an effort to keep Pocklington's only show running.
Our show has been taking place for many years - this one being the 57th. It caters for all interests including winemaking, photography, floral art, cookery, vegetables and all types of handicrafts and of course chrysanthemums and houseplants.
We have a number of classes open to children plus a colouring competition for children under ten years of age. The picture for colouring can be obtained from schools or by telephoning the number below.
Please try to make a special effort to visit the show or better still bring an exhibit, as without exhibits we do not have a show. Entry is open to all; you do not need to be a member of the society to show, but new members are always welcome as we are a small and getting smaller committee. We need your support.
For more information, please telephone 01759 304036.
