ROLLITS, the multi-disciplinary York law firm has recruited three of its newly-qualified solicitors to its charity, employment and litigation teams.

They are Gerry Salmon, Ed Jenneson and Chris Drinkall, who have all completed their two-year training contracts with the firm.

Gerry took her law degree at Leeds University before moving to York to study for her Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, which she passed with distinction. She will join the charity law group at Rollit's York office, where she will assist Ros Harwood, who is one of the country's leading charity lawyers.

Ed graduated from the University of Northumbria in 2002 after completing a four- year exempting law degree, which integrated the legal practice course.

He joins the employment team, concentrating on all aspects of employment law including advice on tribunal claims and non-contentious matters.

Chris studied for his legal practice course at York College of Law, which he passed with commendation. He will work in the firm's litigation department, concentrating on general commercial litigation.

Stephen Trynka, Rollits' managing partner, said: "Rollits is widely recognised for the breadth of its experience and services, and our extensive client list is testimony to our continued success.

"We are delighted to be able to offer full-time positions to our newly qualified solicitors at the end of their training with us, as we believe that the recruitment of the best young lawyers around will maintain our reputation as one of the top firms in the region."
