I WRITE with reference to the article entitled "Why our teenagers are stuck in between (October 20).
My wife and I are in our 80s and at one time we too were "stuck in between". But we were not so egregiously rude, violent and destructive as some teenagers seem to be today, nor indeed were our children, now in their 50s.
We spent much time just harmlessly mucking about when we were young and we were seldom bored.
