Fibbers played host to the new exciting rock band Rooster.

Classed as a "modern yet classic rock band, with a big chorus", with achievements already under their belt (Top Of The Pops, Radio1, V Festival etc), Rooster had a lot to live up to.

Support act Sixty 6 played their part with attitude and style, and although like a morose Busted, they were definitely appreciated by the girls.

The room then filled with an older audience, different atmosphere, and there would have been little surprise should bras have been flung to greet the feathered act.

There was no shortage of confidence, as the lead vocalist Nick and guitarist Luke strutted their stuff and stole the limelight. They had tons of energy and fronted well. Hats off to the rest of the team too - they gave it their all. They played a tight set together, and looked comfortable performing.

Probably too popular to play covers, they stuck to their own tunes which went down well, but when they came to play their chart hit Come And Get Some, the crowd erupted.

Rooster are good entertainers and have bags of talent. They are like Aerosmith but also have their own gruff style that showed massive potential. Mixed in with their sex appeal, Rooster have plenty to crow about.
