DOGS fouling footways, woodworm and dry rot, seagulls and pigeons, ants and rats, wasps and the like, horse droppings and other pests that cause damage and are seemingly a health hazard to boot: why are "bats" different and not subject to certain restrictions (October 19)?
Is it not time to concentrate on protecting our own species from the ever growing threat of crime and disorder in our society today. Let commonsense prevail, amend the "Bat Bill" or is it that our legislators were all born in Transylvania?
