Gordon Brown is the longest-serving Chancellor for 180 years, exceeding the 2,600 days of David Lloyd George.
Pensioners remember Lloyd George for the introduction of the state pension.
Brown will be remembered for its demise, and if Tony Blair becomes a Roman Catholic, presumably he'll worship at the Church of the Immaculate Deception!
