As a Duranie it was an excitable moment being given a collection of every single B-side (remember those?) and CD track Duran Duran produced from the mid-Eighties onwards.
While there are some great mixes of Skin Trade, Notorious and Too Much Information it quickly becomes repetitive.
I now know how my Mum and Dad felt 20 years ago with the same tune blasting out of my bedroom over and over again.
White Lines is great, as are the mixes of early songs Burning The Ground and Decadence, but seven versions of The Violence Of Summer is too much. Most 30-something fans will have all these songs lurking somewhere at home from the first time round, so buy the new comeback album instead of this mere collector's piece.
