SHEILA Henry Hair salon in Harrogate has had a special visit from one of its longest-standing and most well-known clients to celebrate its latest accolade.
Lady Emma Ingilby, who has had her hair styled at Sheila Henry for the past 20 years, was at the salon to present owner Sarah Lishman with an Investors In People award, after the business achieved the quality standard.
Miss Lishman, who took over the 31-year-old business four years ago, underwent the Investors In People process with her 14 staff, with guidance from business adviser Helen Gisbourne, of Business Link York and North Yorkshire.
Presenting the plaque, Lady Ingilby said: "I have been a client of the salon for 20 years and have watched it grow into the successful business clients can experience today."
Mrs Gisbourne said: "Sarah has been at the salon for 19 years, having started as an apprentice straight from school. She recently celebrated her fourth anniversary as the owner and Investors In People is a wonderful consolidation of the time and energy she has put into the business."
