DELIVERY has been taken of the first of 27 new vehicles ordered by Selby-based Parkland Construction Services, an investment worth £250,000.
The 27 Ford Transit Connect vans will bear the new livery of the company which has rebranded since relocating to Brackenholme Business Park.
The vehicles will support work in its building, cladding, roofing, electrical and mechanical engineering and health and safety divisions. Brook Nolson, managing director of Parkland, said: "The full corporate rebranding campaign marks a major step forward in our plans for the future. The new fleet of vans is an integral element and will help with our branding across the region.
"This investment illustrates our vision for the future and the size of the new fleet reflects the continued growth of Parkland into a complete construction services provider. It is essential that our customers see that we care for our business image as much as their projects."
With a client list including: National Power, Croda Chemicals, ABP, Tilbury Douglas, Griffiths Laboratories, Jarvis Construction, Entergy, H M Prisons, Hygena, Willmott Dixon Construction, National Starch, NHS and the local authorities, projected turnover this year is £12 million.
