Leeper Hare York and District Reserve 'A' leaders Dringhouses were pleased with their 1-1 draw at York St Johns College.
Dringhouses took the lead through an Andy Barkway penalty but a well taken goal by Robin Bedford shared the points.
Second placed Old Malton trailed to a goal from 16-year-old Paul Gordon but Dunnington's luck changed soon after when they missed a penalty, had their keeper sent off, and conceded an own goal.
A Mark Smith goal was enough for Old Malton to claim the points.
Third-placed Pocklington are another side prospering from youth as 16-year-olds Martin Richardson and Wayne Johnstone scored in their 2-0 win over Copmanthorpe.
New Earswick suffered their fourth defeat on the trot when they went down 3-0 at home to Huntington, two goals from James Wood and Neil Cadywood doing the damage.
Malton Bacon Factory took the lead through Mark Lund over Kartiers but then conceded three goals in 13 mins and went down 3-1.
