SIDECAR superstar Steve Webster was the toast of North Yorkshire today as he and passenger Paul Woodhead revelled in a hat-trick of title triumphs.
After already amassing both the 2004 World and European sidecar championships the wonders of Webster and Woodhead swept past all their rivals to claim the 2004 Eastern Airways British sidecar championship for a clean sweep at Mallory Park yesterday.
The duo needed to only win one of the two championship races, but they won both. And then for good measure they triumphed in a non-championship six-lap dash.
Enthused Easingwold-based Webster: "Everything we've planned has come together and all the people who do things behind the scenes have got us to this title. It's truly been a team effort.
"The bike has got better as we've gone along. It's wonderful that it's all turned out the way it has."
