YORK City Rowing Club's squad of 12 juniors recorded seven wins at the Ancholme Head of the River race in Lincolnshire.
Stroke Anna Skilbeck took the women's junior quadruple scull over the course at a controlled 30 strokes per minute, with her crew sculling confidently, to take the trophy for the fastest women's crew of the day.
Skilbeck was joined by Leah Ward in her first-ever race, having come to the sport in February, plus Katherine Fowler and Emily Shaw who had earlier won the Under-15 double sculls.
Robert McKenzie and James Reeder, in their first long distance competition, won the junior U14 double sculls.
Mathew Nobel sculled in both the morning and afternoon races, recording consistent times of 12mins 7secs and 12 mins 8 secs to gain a win in senior class 4 sculls.
Sarah Pitcher, also in her first long distance race, won U16 single sculls and then teamed up with Danielle Lewis to take the women's novice double sculls. Lewis and Skilbeck also won U18 double sculls, making them the fastest women's double of the day.
At Worcester Head of the River, Dan Beaumont continued his run of success with a win in senior class two sculls, having won twice at Chester the previous weekend.
