FIVE York-based pupils have been called up to the North Yorkshire Schools under-16 squad.
Manor Church of England School pair Scott Milling and Tom Breslin are joined by Michael Walsh (All Saints Roman Catholic School), Mikey Warriner (Canon Lee) and Chas Wrigley (Tadcaster Grammar).
Midfielder Walsh and striker Wrigley are both on York City's books. Warriner and Breslin are also forwards while Milling is a right-sided midfielder.
The team's first game in the Northern Counties Championships is against Durham at Washington tomorrow. Further fixtures will follow against South Yorkshire, Cumbria, Northumberland and Cleveland.
