RECENTLY my wife, who is also my carer, and I made a day visit to Bridlington. I suffer with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Later that day, I decided to make a comfort call at the central toilet block. I was wearing my MS badge, and using my walking aid. The notice at the entrance read, adults 15p, disabled free. The attendant in the kiosk refused me admission because I could not provide written evidence of my disability.
I wonder how many other disabled people this attendant has refused admission?
Shame on Bridlington council.
