THE writing won't be on the wall for long at schools in the York area if two Dads have their way.
Robert Caines and his business partner Colin White started out life as parents concerned about the problem of school graffiti - and now they have set up a business removing it.
Their company, RoCo Restoration Ltd, is offering schools in York and the surrounding area free demonstrations in the art of graffiti removal using a £20,000 piece of pressure washing kit. Rob and Chris both have two children at Woldgate Secondary School, in Pocklington and have already demonstrated their work there.
Their Farrow Machine mixes hot water and sand in a high pressure spray to blast the graffiti away.
Rob said: "We didn't want to see the school environ-ment decline when we are in a position to do something about it.
"Graffiti is like a disease, and the sooner it's stamped out the better."
