MAXINE GORDON gets ready to retire for the night.
THERE'S nothing like bedtime to separate the sexy from the slouchy. You know what I mean. Women fall into two distinct camps when it comes to nightwear: the comfy and the come-on.
Let me confess that I am a comfort girl at heart, but with secret yearnings towards slinky sleepwear.
It's cotton pyjamas or vest and leggings combos for me with my cocoa, however every now and then I indulge in a bar of Galaxy and a pretty girlie nightie with a lacy trim.
I love the idea of satin slippers with Chinese embroidery, but feel more at home in my ancient, furry, once-purple slip-ons which I'm sure would be condemned by an environmental health inspector.
And so, I admit I'm a slouchy kind of gal with desires to be otherwise.
Luckily there is nightwear available to cater for all stops on the sexy-slouchy spectrum.
However you dress for bed, we've found some great looks to take you straight to your comfort zone.
