THE last 100 per cent Reserve 'A' record fell as St John's College went down 2-1 at league leaders Dringhouses.
After a goal-less first half, Nick Brown's free kick put 'Houses in front and, though Steve Maddox made it 1-1, Steve Cross rounded the keeper six minutes from time to settle the game. St John's have an early opportunity to get their own back as the two sides meet again next Saturday.
Kartiers, last season's runners-up, had to rely on a late Mark Lucas strike to secure a point from their home fixture against Old Malton. Paul Boyes had put the visitors in front.
Copmanthorpe collected their first win of the campaign as they beat Huntington Rovers 2-1 at home.
The visitors led at the break through Lee Jackson but two goals from veteran Darren Starkey helped set up the win for Cop.
