MOOR Lane's impressive defensive record in division three of more than six hours without conceding a goal lasted for another hour at Huby before their keeper finally picked the ball out of the back of the net.
Andrew Kenyon put Moor Lane into the lead in the first half and Gareth Ailsby doubled the advantage before Richard Jennison and then Richard Wilsden snatched a point for Huby two minutes from time.
A first half hat-trick from Tudor Carrington put LNER Builders well on their way to a resounding victory at home to Cawood. Ken Sharma and a Lee Jackson penalty both in the first period gave the Builders a 5-1 half-time lead and further goals were added by Liam King, Steve Crossby and another from Carrington.
Two goals each from Richard Hare and Sam Farthing helped earn Tadcaster Albion a 4-4 draw with York RI.
Playing their first league game of the season, Heworth went into the interval with a 1-0 lead, but visitors Sheriff Hutton hit back with six in the second half to claim top spot in the league. Dale Phillips (hat-trick), two from Alan Whitehead and a goal from Richard Beddingham secured the win for the visitors while both Paul Branscombe and Dan Walton hit the target for Heworth.
