AFTER struggling to get their game together at Knottingley, Pocklington finally found their form to come from 13 points down to win 34-16.
Pocklington made the occasional early break, but were unable to score, while Knottingley had fewer opportunities but made the most of them to take the lead.
Pock finally got into the game for stand-off Kevin Bowling to kick a penalty, then with the last move of the first half they spun the ball wide for full-back Sam Butcher to score in the corner.
Knottingley continued to threaten but Pock's team play overhauled the home side with two tries in three minutes.
Both times, the Pocklington pack ground up the middle with rolling mauls to pave the way for Bowling, who jinked 25 yards under the posts and then for replacement back row Paul Rhodes, Bowling kicking both conversions.
Pocklington had the final word as wing Rob Jackson sliced inside on a scissors and Bowling completed the scoring with another conversion.
