RECENTLY we received a lovely postcard of the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg. The postcard was sent on August 13, and was correctly addressed, except for the use of the old post code YO2 instead of YO24.
However, the addressee, Miss MS Fitzgerald, does not live here, never has and is unknown to us.
The card was sent by "Linda". We probably don't know her either, but Miss Fitzgerald is probably going to feel a little piqued not to receive this, judging from the wording.
