Mrs Moh, who ran a fine race in defeat at York 12 days ago, heads to the other side of the Pennines tomorrow with excellent prospects of gaining her second success of the campaign.
Tim Easterby's filly goes to Haydock for the Diane Murphy 40th Birthday Handicap and is fancied to get back on the winning trail in the hands of David Allan.
A winner at Chester two outings ago, Mrs Moh made a bold bid to double-up on Knavesmire, but had to settle for third place behind Neon Blue, beaten less than two lengths over seven furlongs.
The three-year-old was noted staying on stoutly that day and the step up to a mile will suit her better tomorrow. She promises to run a big race.
Geoff Huffer, a successful trainer in Newmarket back in the 1980s, has recently returned to the training ranks and he has good prospects of gaining a comeback winner with Carrowdore in the St Helens Handicap.
Tough and consistent, Carrowdore failed by only a head to catch Billy Bathwick at Yarmouth last month when trained by Conrad Allan.
A reproduction of that form over tomorrow's identical distance of ten furlongs should ensure the four-year-old takes a hand in the finish. Ian Mongan has the mount.
James Fanshawe is enjoying his best season and the Newmarket handler appears to have found a good opportunity for Chanteloup to open her winning account in the LCCC Development Association Maiden Stakes.
In the frame in all her three starts this season, Chanteloup has every chance of promoting herself to the number-one slot here. Johnny Murtagh, Fanshawe's retained jockey, has the mount.
Throw The Dice should not be overlooked in the Haydock Park Annual Badgeholders Maiden Stakes.
Kevin Ryan's two-year-old shaped with unmistakable promise on his debut over this course and distance last month when, after missing the break, he stayed on to finish second to Josh. Sure to have benefitted from that outing, Throw The Dice has every chance of fulfilling his initial promise.
Ryan, who is based at Hambleton Lodge on the top of Sutton Bank, will also be represented tomorrow at Yarmouth, where he has good prospects of winning the Ashleigh Print Selling Stakes with Kings Rock.
Winner of a similar race at Leicester recently, when blinkered for the first time, Kings Rock looks capable of doubling his score. Significantly, Ryan has secured the services of champion jockey Kieren Fallon to take the mount.
My Nap vote goes to Habitual in the BBC Radio Norfolk Maiden Handicap over a mile and a half.
Trained by Sir Mark Prescott, whose horses are in excellent form after a slow start to the campaign, Habitual was stepped up to two miles on his handicap bow at Beverley last month, but failed to stay the trip.
He should be much more at home over tomorrow's half-mile shorter distance and ought to be able to win such a modest race. Jamie Mackay has the mount.
Kieren Fallon will ride Damson in the Independent Waterford Wedgwood Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. The filly has won all her three races this season including the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot when ridden by Jamie Specer.
