AS organiser of the Roman Festival I am again grateful to the many who helped make this year's event such a great success.

The list is so long it would fill the entire letters page, and if I were to try I would undoubtedly miss someone out (as I did on the day and forgot to mention our official photographer, Keith Meadley).

We are already planning next year's festival, which will take place from July 22-24. Anyone who would like to help or become involved in any way should contact me on 07931 668935, or call into the Bathhouse in St Sampson's Square.

I should like to add that while all care was taken during the festival, the organisers cannot be held responsible for those on a "downer" who enjoyed themselves too much and who are now receiving counselling to help them get over the fun-packed and educational weekend.

Although we do wish them well and hope they will soon adjust back to normal.
