EASINGWOLD skipper Alan Robinson was in fine form in the Hunters the estate agent York and District Senior League division four game at Thorp Arch.
He was the only batsman to make an appreciable score (33) as Mike Linnacre took 5-52 to bowl out the leaders for 140.
The Easingwold skipper then retaliated in decisive fashion when his 6-27 in 14 overs toppled the Arch for 101.
Long time leaders Selby slipped behind Easingwold when they had to settle for a disadvantage home draw with a Londessbrough Park side, who were the only team in the division to take full batting points.
Their run spree was fronted by John Williamson, who made 76, with Mark Tissiman (32) and Robert Wilkinson (38) lending a helping had as a total of 200-7 was reached despite the efforts of Paul Wadsworth (3-51). When Selby batted, Martin Swann took 3-46, but 56 by Ian Lake enabled his side to draw at 165-8.
Two bowlers turned in expansive performances when Osbaldwick beat Pocklington by 117 runs.
James Richmond took 7-53 for Pocklington and then Andy Hall took a career best 6-31.
Unfortunately for Richmond, Andy Ezzard made 73 and Mark Thompson 28 to help Osbaldwick to 197-9, whereas Hall only had to watch Dave Gamble make 28 as Pocklington collapsed to 80 all out.
Sheriff Hutton Bridge are falling into the relegation zone following their heavy defeat at nearby Huby.
Dave Kiernan made 26 and Dave Ellis 28, but Tim Little (3-41) helped to keep the Bridge under fire as they were restricted to 116-7. Huby then lost just one wicket, that of Dave Patmore for 39, as they won by nine wickets, Darren Howell hitting an unbeaten 62.
