OVINGTON and Copmanthorpe, the top two teams in division five, shared an incredible 78 extras.
Ovington batted first and had 42 extras in their total of 176. Copmanthorpe's Liam Elliker bagged 4-51. Despite Malcolm Beetham's 41 Copmanthorpe were eight runs shy. Karl Walker was the pick of the Ovington attack with 3-53.
Sheriff Hutton got the better of Stockton and Hopgrove in a low scoring affair. Sheriff batted first and stumbled to 122 all out, Tony Hull making 56. Top Stockton bowler was 12-year-old Mark Dobson, who took 3-5. Despite a solid start by Stockton, Tony Fisher took 4-16 to send Stockton spinning out for 105.
Thorpe Willoughby posted 171-6 against neighbours Selby as Pete Masterman top scored with 67. All rounder Adam Lee hit 30 runs before taking 6-38 to bowl Selby all out for 126.
