Hunters Estate Agents, in York, is expanding its Human Resources department with the appointment of a new manager.
In her new role, Kim Hanley will support Glynis Frew, HR director, in recruiting employees and developing training programmes for the company's 170-strong team.
Last month, Hunters was the only estate agent in the UK to be named as an Employer Champion by Age Positive at a recent reception at 11 Downing Street, and Kim, previously a practice manager for a solicitors firm in York, plans to build on this honour. "To join Hunters at a time when the company is being praised for staff diversity is inspiring, and I plan to maintain Hunters' reputation as a first rate employer," she said.
"Staff training will continue to be a priority and, with a graduate training scheme linked to the National Association of Estate Agents already being planned, prospects for employees will continue to go from strength to strength."
