Dunnington'S Gary Andrew hit his 12th league century as his unbeaten 105 helped his side to a nine-wicket win at Hovingham to keep Dunnington in pole position in division five.
John Ward had made 42 and Neil Thompson 44 in Hovingham's 150-6 but Andrew, who was abetted by Andy Chipps 27, ensured a romping win for the visitors.
Tadcaster Magnet kept up the pressure on the leaders with a four-wicket win to leave them 19 behind Dunnington with a game in hand.
Dean Walton was outstanding for Huntington as he made 64 of their score of 160-6.
In reply, Rob Hill hit 51 and Richard Taylor 48 to destroy any threat posed by Steve Beales 3-56 and Chris smith 3-44.
York's uncommon decision to bat first on winning the toss paid huge dividends when they took the full 30 points at Stamford Bridge and they are now making a strong bid for a second successive promotion after a poor start.
Steve Jones fully justified Kev Mendham's faith in his side by hitting 70 while Mendham himself and Stuart Green both cracked 42 and enabled the skipper to declare at 202-6 after 42 overs.
Martin Veysey was the bowling success for Stamford with 3-45 but then witnessed his batting crumbling away as Tony Hall took 5-28 and Matthew Hodgson 3-15. Andy Fraser made a token 25 for Bridge, who fell for exactly 100.
Cawood kept well in touch with the leaders as they dented Bolton Percy's promotion hopes with a five-wicket home win.
John White made 28 and Bill Preacher 34 but Bolton were kept well in check by Nigel Bartram who took 5-54 as Percy struggled to 113-9. Ex Rugby-man Dicklen Edwards then made 31 and Rich Nicholson 37 as Cawood reached 115-5.
