REGARDING the new cards for collecting our pensions, why can't we keep our old pension books instead of more plastic?
Some of us don't have bank accounts or would have to go a long way to collect our money.
I suppose the Government, as usual, will get its way. Whoever thought of this scheme can't have much idea about pensioners. What about people who are disabled or not so nimble-fingered? Was there a survey of us asking what we want?
What was wrong with our old books? There were never any problems and our money was always there with no fear of machines breaking down. If that happened what would we do? Starve I suppose until it was sorted.
Leave our books alone. Let us choose how we are paid.
