Jimmy Fortune, riding like a man inspired since returning to the saddle following ten months on the sidelines with back problems, can triumph in tomorrow's feature race.
Fortune, due to ride at Doncaster in the evening, goes first to Sandown to team-up with Park Law in the £30,000 Star Stakes over seven furlongs.
Trained by John Gosden, Park Law opened her winning account in pleasing style at Kempton recently, making all the running and staying on stoutly to score by a length and a quarter from Arbella.
Over the same distance tomorrow, Park Law has plenty going for her and, although she faces a tougher task, this progressive and talented filly is napped to provide Fortune with another winner.
He has missed a few days of racing this week after having his hand crushed in the stalls by fractious mount, but he was due to return to the saddle today.
The Sungard Securities Finance Handicap over five furlongs looks a good opportunity for Tregarron to follow up his comeback victory at Newbury last month.
Richard Hannon's three-year-old prevailed by a head that day from Royal Challenge and left the impression that further victorites will come his way. The in-form Ryan Moore again takes the mount.
Champion jockey Kieren Fallon has good prospects of winning on Adaikali in the Sandown Park Racing Plus Handicap.
Sir Michael Stoute's three-year-old got off the mark at Pontefract last time, leaving the impression that there was more to come.
Levitator, a stablemate of Adaikali, is still seeking his first success, but this promising colt, who finished runner-up at Kempton last time, may get his chance to shine under Fallon in the Sharp Minds Betfair Handicap.
Fallon will also be in action at Doncaster tomorrow evening and can make his presence felt aboard the progressive Hartshead in the Grolsh Classified Stakes.
Trained near Richmond in North Yorkshire by Alan Swinbank, Hartshead has won his last two races in the style of an improving sprinter. A hat-trick looks a distinct possibility here.
Fallon and Swinbank also have excellent claims with Red Romeo in the Doncaster Racecourse Sponsorship Club Handicap.
Winner of his last three starts, this talented sprinter may not be anchored by a 6lb penalty.
Trew Class can oblige for Darryll Holland and trainer Mark Tompkins in the Carling Extra Cold Fillies' Handicap.
The three-year-old has found a rich vein of form recently, winning her last two starts. This contest looks an ideal opportunity for her to complete a hat-trick.
Charnock Bates One landed a few good bets when winning at Beverley three weeks ago. Tim Easterby's charge could be a popular order to follow-up in the Eastside Magazine Handicap.
Thursday's tips:
