A stone map of a part of York has been revealed to residents.
The official unveiling of the map of Tang Hall was carried out at the local library by Trident Gold Students from Burnholme Community College and stonemason Saffron Waghorn.
The Tang Hall stone map project is part of an Arts Action initiative, which aims to promote community arts throughout York, and is funded by Arts Council, Yorkshire, and City of York Council.
The Burnholme students worked with Saffron for eight weeks to design and carve the map in different-coloured stone.
The art work illustrates the story behind some of the street names in Tang Hall, and includes the Emperor Constantine, York artist William Etty's paint palette, and the outline of Pen-y-ghent Peak and Derwent Water.
