YOU can play out your Open golf fantasy in York city centre this weekend.
The Bryant Homes Golf Roadshow will be hitting York as part of the house builder's joint initiative with The Professional Golfers' Asociation's "Bringing Golf To You" initiative.
Now in its second year, and with a new target of introducing 10,000 people to golf in 2004, the roadshow will be held in St Sampson's Square on Saturday and Sunday.
PGA qualified teaching professionals will be aboard a unique, purpose built 45ft game improvement centre to offer expert tuition for everyone, from complete beginners to golfers with handicaps.
All lessons are free of charge and those who take part will receive a 'Getting Started' kit, which includes a host of offers and money-saving vouchers on golf equipment, golf publications and hotel breaks, from companies such as Pinnacle, PGA Collections, Golf Monthly and De Vere.
To register your interest in taking part or for details concerning other
venue fixtures, call the 'Bringing Golf to You' hotline, on 0121 355 2640.
