THE judges have separated the sheep from the goats.
The tea tents have been drunk dry. The wellies are back in the boot of the Land Rover.
Another Great Yorkshire Show is over. No fewer than 125,000 people braved the autumnal weather to visit the three-day show, a remarkable success by any standard.
The exhibitors enjoyed it too. Show director Christopher Hall noted a new mood of cautious optimism among farmers.
Let's hope it can be sustained.
