The Hunters York Senior League Joe Lumb XI maintained their unbeaten record when their game with the Aire/Wharfe League at Rawdon was finally abandoned because of rain.
The York innings had three interruptions for the downpours on the way to a final total of 178.
After the first shower York raced to 59-2 off ten overs, thanks to a fine 27 from Thirsk's Mark Cook.
However, the Aire/Wharfe's spinners took control and reduced York to 88-8 before the third break.
York's tail-enders then hit out, Josh Rewcroft at number nine and Andrew Anderson at ten taking the score to 120, before Rewcroft was bowled.
Last man Alex Renton then smashed seven fours in a whirlwind and undefeated 35, and Anderson was last out for 27 when the score reached 178.
Aire/Wharfe were 35-1 after seven overs when rain halted the game for good, Renton taking a fine catch to add to his batting success.
York now have two tough games left, the first being against the Heavy Woollen Area at Clifton Alliance on Sunday.
