Former successful jockey Bobby Elliott, who swapped his job as right-hand man to top trainer Mark Johnston to strike out on his own, can tomorrow figure in the Catterick winners' enclosure for the second time in a week.
Wendy's Girl, successful on the course last Wednesday, returns to race in the Richmond Suite Handicap.
Her victory last week was over six furlongs, but the drop back to the minimum trip tomorrow should not inconvenience Wendy's Girl, who has plenty of speed, as she showed when winning at Warwick earlier in the summer.
Elliott is now based at Formby, on Merseyside, where he has 30 horses under his care.
Nap selection Wendy's Girl can further advertise her trainer's talents by scoring again tomorrow under Malton apprentice Tony Hamilton, who rode her to victory last week.
Newmarket-based claimer Hayley Turner, making significant progress as an apprentice jockey, has every chance of with consistent three-year-old Vicario, trained by her boss Michael Bell, in the Book Your Raceday Hospitality Handicap.
Darlington trainer Michael Dods can do no wrong at present and he looks set to chalk up another winner with Al Azhar in the Malton Suite Claiming Stakes.
Although in the twilight of his career at the age of ten, Al Azhar, a former useful handicapper, still has the ability to win a race of this calibre.
Tim Easterby has excellent prospects of adding his name to the scoresheet, courtesy of Brain Washed in the Paddock Suite Maiden Stakes.
The three-year-old looks to be progressing with racing and is fancied to step up on his latest runner-up effort.
Frankie Dettori could well be the star rider at Lingfield before he travels on to the evening meeting at Kempton.
Dettori has several fancied mounts at the afternoon venue, not least Catherine Wheel, from the in-form James Fanshawe yard.
Winner of her last two starts, Catherine Wheel is making good progress up the sprinting ladder. The Bellway Handicap over six furlongs offers her a good opportunty to complete a hat-trick.
The promising Revenir (1.50) and the well-regarded newcomer Afrashad (2.20) can also oblige for Dettori on a day when Lingfield stage racing on both an artificial and a grass surface.
Recent winner Tungsten Strike will tackle turf in the Ladies Night This Saturday Handicap over two miles and Martin Dwyer's mount is selected to defy a 5lb penalty.
