'CYCLISTS will be king' (Letters, July 1): I thought they were already in charge.
They ride on footpaths or ride through red lights; they ride without lights or bells and through pedestrian zones (as did your correspondent Mr Hepworth on Monday, June 28, at 11.10am in Coney Street).
He soon got off when I reminded him where he was: maybe his crown had slipped over his eyes and he could not see where he was going. A person whose picture appears in the Press as often as his does should be more careful.
