Dringhouses missed the opportunity to top division six at the halfway stage when they suffered a six wicket defeat at the hands of Civil Service, for whom Mark Bradley took 3-43 and made 26no.
Page 30 and Holgate 29 contributed to Dringhouses' 135-8 but their bowlers made scant headway as Service homed in on victory.
Third placed Stillington earned a draw which denied Rowntrees the full 30 points when their last man survied the final two balls.
Rowntrees' top five batsmen all made significant contributions with openers Alan Roberts 25 and Tony Thomson 47 setting the tone of the innings.
Steve Aldous weighed in with 30 before Andy Main 44no and Stefan Cockerill 28 added 68 in quick time for the fourth wicket as Rowntrees made 203-4.
Stillington's reply suffered an immediate setback when Dennis North was caught at gully by the senior Rowntrees player off the first ball of the innings but then benefited when Chris Manson 36 and Chris Borwell 25 added 53 for the second wicket.
Peter Dalton's 41 then obstructed Rowntrees' progress but Steve Aldous made inroads with 4-32 with the home side clinging on for a draw at 164-9.
At Cawood, D Topping made 36 and James Pearson 34 in a home score of 124 as Rich Lofthouse took 5-33 for Wilberfoss. James Pullein retaliated with 3-39 but an unbeaten 42 from Kev Davison saw 'Foss to a three wicket win.
New Earswick's Rob Wood recorded the best bowling figures of the day when his 8-73 reduced Thorp Arch & Boston Spa to 131-9 with only James Orrell 29 standing firm. Mark Benson then made 38 but Chris Binnie took 4-16 to help dismiss Earswick for 124.
A closely fought encounter at Hemingbrough saw Londesbrough Park gain a one wicket win with just 4 overs to spare thanks to the efforts of Dick Salmon 60 and George Drewery 35.
Hemingbrough's first innings total of 172-2 came via the efforts of Mark Allitt 25, Raheen Saddique 31 and Tom Clark who made an unbeaten 41.
