WIMBLEDON, for long associated with strawberries and cream, has in recent years become just as linked with "Henmania" which many consider as "Henmadness".
This condition involves the worst affected sufferers marching up a hill known as Henman Hill and then after, invariably, the men's quarter finals, marching down again because Tiger Tim is once again not going to roar any more.
Given Tim's age, how much longer will this delusional condition continue? Only he can say.
Surely not as long as that of the other great sporting delusion, that of England's football team winning another major trophy to go with the 1966 World Cup.
