Hmmm...long-haired Kennedy's boss John "Ginola" Mooney may have offered up his locks for charity but by the look of these pictures it was more of a trim than a scalping.
On the bright side, staff at the Little Stonegate bar sound relieved that his just-got-out-of-bed look is over and a clean-cut future awaits.
Of course there is the not-so-small matter of £260 raised by generous punters for Motor Neurone Disease research, thanks to what was billed as a "classic charity extravaganza".
John, 25, said he was inspired to support the charity because the husband of a colleague suffers from the disease.
"I've had this long hair for two years and a lot of people were keen for me to get it cut," he said. "I thought if I was going to do it, I may as well do it for charity."
Fellow barfly Matt Aconley added: "He hoped to raise around £50 and was overwhelmed by the response and raised a whopping £260 in the space of just a few hours! He now plans to auction off a collection of classic photography donated by one of our customers in an attempt to get even more."
