Beacon Dodsworth is an exciting software house producing client/server and web solutions. Software Developer required to work with the existing team of six enhancing our Prospex and Mapvision products and working on special projects for clients. We are looking for somebody with programming and database experience but we are not just interested in computer scientists. We need somebody who could work on his or her own initiative and as part of a team. Our main development environment is Microsoft Visual Studio. Some experience of SQL Server or Access with visual Basic 6 is required. We develop web applications using ASP.NET (C), ASP and PHP so knowledge of these technologies would be an advantage. We would like the successful applicant to start work immediately. The salary range is 21,000-£26,000 per year plus bonuses. 30 days holiday. No agencies please.
