YORK City Knights speedster Rob Kama will have to be at his lightning quick best tonight if he is to challenge for 'Fastest Man in Rugby League' honours.
The 27-year-old is to take part in the one-off Sport Relief charity event to find the quickest rugby league player over 100 metres, which will be staged at Wigan's Robin Park Arena tonight, at 6pm.
And the draw has been tough on Fijian flier Kama, who will face a few dark horses for the title in his opening heat. Four of his six rivals are from Super League clubs.
He goes in heat three, with Wakefield's Justin Ryder, Huddersfield's Paul White and Widnes' Nicky Royle, who are all expected to be in the shake-up among the opposition, not to mention Great Britain star Leon Pryce, of Bradford Bulls.
Kama says reaching the final would be a good result, but with only the top two in each of the four heats qualifying, it's a difficult task.
As reported by the Press, Kama's personal best over 100m is 10.35secs - which, incidentally, would have gleaned him fourth place in the IAAF Norwich Union Grand Prix at Gateshead this weekend, just a hundredth of a second behind Olympic medal hope Mark Lewis-Francis.
But this event will be run over a rugby pitch, with players wearing full kit and boots, and carrying a ball.
The event, which has caught the imagination of rugby fans, is sponsored by Powergen, with all proceeds raised on the night going to Sport Relief.
Heat 1: Ade Adebisi (London Skolars); Darren Albert (St Helens); Dean Colton (Doncaster); Mark Stevens (Salford); George Rayner (Hunslet); Dean Gaskell (Warrington); Richie Barnett Jnr (Hull FC).
Heat 2: TBC (Sheffield); Ricky Sheriffe (Halifax); Alistair McLarron (Hull KR); Neil Fraser (Workington Town); Brett Dallas (Wigan); James Ford (Featherstone Rovers); Lee Greenwood (London Broncos); Rob Worrincy (Castleford).

Knights' National League Two rivals Barrow, Gateshead and Dewsbury were not able to attend due to other commitments.
