In a depleted round of fixtures, Acorn ARL maintained their unbeaten record in York Unique-Phoenix Darts League division two with a fine win at Holgate WMC.

Mark Gale's brace of 16-darters, plus a maximum sealed Acorn's win, before Gaz Stewart got Holgate on the scoreboard with an 18-darter. Al Potter hit a 180, then Lee Brundrett closed out on bull for 18 darts.

Flag remain in second spot after a clean sweep at Sun Inn. Lee Mason stood out for Flag with a 110 finish for 21, then adding 23 darts.

Martin Waddington (2 x 22) shone for Clifton as they kept the pressure on with a fine 8-1 win against Alice Hawthorn, whose Mal Davey notched a maximum. Match-winner Paul Brandon gamed in 23, while Neil Hart added a 22-darter.

Ally Wray included a maximum as he recorded a splendid 18-darter for Cygnet 'D' in their York John Smith's Mixed Darts League encounter against their 'A' team.

Col Rowntree-Liz Powell clinched the decider and the match points, with Rowntree hitting a 103 out shot.

Huntington's Angie Heilds gamed in 20 darts against Leeman 'B', while Cygnet 'C' had John Clemit-Carol Stubbs clinching the all important last game win at Slipper, who had Paul Partridge out in 20 darts.

Cueball's Trev Platt partnered Michelle Britton to seal the club side's win at Cygnet 'B', while the Jim Hawksby-Janice Potts combination wrapped up Beeswing's victory against Crescent.
