Yorkshire's first match in the Twenty-20 Cup takes place on Friday when they meet Derbyshire at Derby.
To make sure they are fully prepared for it they will hold two practice games at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, the first one starting at 10.30am.
"We could not arrange a game at Headingley because of Thursday's one-day international and New Rover's ground is not big enough, so we chose Stamford Bridge," said David Byas, Yorkshire director of cricket.
"We will take our full squad and select two teams from it."
"After the games, the players will have dinner together and we will discuss tactics and what the batting order should be.
"I was not involved in Twenty-20 cricket last season and I am looking forward to the experience."
