BOTTOM-placed Tadcaster Magnet scored a surprise victory in the only division one game in Hunters the estate agent York and District Senior League to be completed.
Magnet won by three wickets at home to Carlton Towers, whose promotion hopes have been severely dented by the defeat.
Paul Wright made 33, Abhay Sharma 27 and Matt Holmes 41 for Carlton, but Zimbabwean Greg Strydom took 4-32 to limit the score to 144-7 in the revised 34 overs.
Strydom then continued to cause problems when he made 34, while Chris Malthouse made 35.
John McHale posed a threat to the hosts as he captured 4-48 but an unbeaten 16 from David Lord produced a three wicket win with three balls to spare which lifts Magnet from bottom to tenth place in the division.
Driffield gained full bowling points when they dismissed Duncombe Park for 168, but their reply could move to only 22-0 before the rain triumphed.
Mike Harding hit 56 for Park, whose other runs came from Brian Leckenby (26) and Peter Kent (33).
The only other game in the division to get under way was at Osbaldwick, where Jonathon Fisher, with 65, and Paul Clappison (41) saw Hornsea make 166-5 in a 32-over stint. Osbaldwick's reply was cut short by rain at two for no wicket.
No play was possible at Goole, Hull Zingari or Whitkirk.
